Bio

Laura Danesin was born in Venice (VE) in 1995. In 2017 she obtained a three-years degree in Cognitive Psychology and Psychobiological Sciences at the University of Padova, with an experimental thesis on lie detection. She continued her training at the University of Padova, where she obtained her master degree in Neuroscience and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation in 2019, with an experimental thesis on the influence of emotions on time perception, mediated by non-invasive transcranial electrical stimulation techniques. She is currently a PhD student at University of Pavia, in the doctoral course in Psychology, Neuroscience and Data Science, surpervised by Prof. Gabriella Bottini and Dr. Francesca Burgio.

Her main expertise concerns the neuropsychological assessment of patients with cerebrovascular or neurodegenerative pathologies, with a specific focus on innovative rehabilitation using digital techniques. She is actually working at the project “Application and validation of MindLenses Professional in neurological patients: evidence from neurocognitive, motor and biological data”, in partnership with Restorative Neurotechnologies.

Research Interests

Laura is primarily interested in studying cognitive deficits in specific neurological conditions. Her research activity focuses on the administration of digital cognitive rehabilitation programs, combined with neuromodulation techniques.
