Bio

Il Dr. Koutsikos was born in Athens-Greece in 1974.

He is a Medical Doctor, specialized in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine with wide experience in Neurorehabilitation.

He received his Master Degree in Medicine at the University of Padova (Italy) in 2003 and completed his specialization at the Neuroscience department of the University of Padova.

He has been active in research since 2007, participating in studies and clinical-farmacological trials regarding Neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS and movement disorders, collaborating with Prof. Angelini Corrado and Prof. Antonini Angelo within the research department of the San Camillo IRCCS Hospital and University of Padova.

Furthermore, he acquired expertise in the broader rehabilitation field, having produced studies in rheumatologic rehabilitation and Thermalism, in collaboration with Prof. Masiero Stefano of the University of Padova.

He has also participated as speaker in numerous national and international congresses.

Research interests

Rehabilitation of Neurological disorders, primarily neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinson’s, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis.

Also active in advanced rehabilitation of Myelopathy and spinal cord injuries.
