ABOUT US

The San Camillo Research Hospital in Venice is an Institute of care and clinical research (IRCCS) accredited by the Italian Ministry of Health and specialised in the rehabilitation of neurological patients. The Institute, officially recognised as one of the few centres of excellence in the neurorehabilitation field in the Country, is part of the IRCCS Network of Neuroscience and Rehabilitation. Our specialists mostly deal with patients affected by stroke, head traumas, multiple sclerosis, or subject to neurodegenerative and neuromuscular diseases. Patients with epilepsy, brain tumour or mild cognitive impairment are treated as outpatient patients.

San Camillo IRCCS collaborates with Professors, Researchers, collaborators, and interns coming from international universities such as Ghent University, Oxford University, and Radboud University, just to mention a few. This is the result of a mentality that sees in the openness towards the internationalisation of our staff and intellectual resources the opportunity to grow and reach innovative and high-quality achievements.
