Biography

Prisca De Roni is a researcher in psychology, associated to the Psychological Association of Friuli Venezia-Giulia.

She obtained her BSc (2015) in Cognitive Psychology and Psychobiology, and her MSc (2017) in Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Padova.

She underwent a professional traineeship first at the Onvological Institute of Veneto, supervised by dr. Samantha Serpentini, and then at the Neurological Clinic of the University Hospital of Padova, under the supervision of prof. Carlo Semenza. Here she was trained in the neuropsychological evaluation of neurological patiens. She also collaborated to a research project aimed at investigating the recognition of bodily emotion expressions in patients affected by motor-neuron disease.

Successively, she obtaine a PhD in Psychological Sciences at the University of Padova (2023). During her doctoral studies, she spent a research and training period first at the London South Bank University, approaching EEG technique, and later at the Comparative Cognition Research Group (Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence).

Application of new technologies to neuopsychological evaluation.
