Bio

Luisa Cacciante was born in Italy in 1994.

She is a Speech and Language Therapist and she achieved bachelor Degree in 2017 and the Master of Science in 2019 at the University of Siena.

At San Camillo IRCCS, she joined the Telemedicine Unit and the Laboratory of Neurorehabilitation Technologies.

Her main duties comprise research activities and treatment of neurological patients with language and communication disorders.

In particular, she deals with the assessment, enrolment and treatment of aphasic patients for the telerehabilitation project: “Teleneurorehabilitation for the continuity of care post-stroke: a pilot multicentric study”.

Research interests

Luisa is interested in investigating the relationships between motor and language functions and is directly involved in R&D activities for the treatment of speech and language disorders with innovative technologies.

Furthermore, her interests are in the field of methodology of systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
