Bio
Jessica Rigon was born in Italy in 1974.
She is a neuropsychologist.
She received her experimental psychology degree at University of Padua (Italy) in 2000.
She received her postgraduate degree in Specialist in Neuropsychology (2008) and Psychotherapy (2013) at the University La Sapienza of Rome (Italy).
After collaboration in Traumatic Brain Injury research with Dr Rita Formisano in Post Coma Unit at IRCCS Santa Lucia in Rome, she works at San Camilllo IRCCS in Venice (Italy) since 2008.
She has an experience in the Mild cognitive Impairment and Dementia, collaborating with Dr Francesca Meneghello, neurologist at IRCCS St. Camillo’s Hospital and Professor Annalena Venneri, MD at Department of Neuroscience in the University of Sheffield.
Since 2007 she is committed at the clinical Neuropsychology’s Master at the University of Padua about self awareness disorders in aquired brain injury.
Research Interests
Jessica is primarily interested in the study of cognitive and behavioral disorders in patients with neurological diseases both in terms of evaluation and rehabilitation.
Particularly test the effectiveness of cognitive rehabilitative treatments at both the behavioral and neural related levels in adult neurological patients.
