Bio

Giorgia Pregnolato was born in Italy in 1991.

She received the Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy in 2014 at University of Padua (Italy) and the Master Degree in Rehabilitation Science in Healthcare Professions in 2019 at the University of Verona (Italy).

She joined the Laboratory of Neurorehabilitation Technologies as researcher with particular expertise in the field of robotics for rehabilitation of neurological disease.

Research Interests

Giorgia is primarily interested in investigating the neurophysiological basis of human motor behaviour and the principles underpinning motor recovery after brain lesions.

She deals with testing new robotic devices for motor rehabilitation after neurological pathologies, such as stroke, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s.

Implications of her research are targeted to develop innovative modalities for technology-based rehabilitation.
