Francesca Baldan was born in Venice (Italy) in 1991.
She graduated in physiotherapy at the University of Padua (Italy) in 2014 with a dissertation on preliminary results on the sue of a sEMG-controlled robotic device for hand rehabilitation, after stroke.
Since May 2015, she joined as freelance researcher the laboratory of neurorehabilitation technologies at the San Camillo IRCCS of Venice.
Francesca is primarily interested in studying principles inducing motor relearning after lesions in the central nervous system and in the application of new technologies to promote motor recovery.
In particular, her investigation concerns the effect of robotics, virtual reality and surface EMG biofeedback treatments.
