Chiara Volpato graduated in psychology in 2000.
She specialized in psychotherapy in 2006 and in obtained a PhD in neuroscience with a study on cognitive and neurophysiological alteration in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in 2011.
After an initial experience in an Alzheimer’s care-center as clinical psychologist she get a research grant from the Fatebenefratelli Association for Research dealing with cognitive and behavioral disorders in Parkinson’s disease.
Since 2006 she works at the IRCCS San Camillo both as researcher and clinical neuropsychologist.
Chiara Volpato focused her research mainly on the investigation of cognitive alterations in neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis by combining behavioral and neurophysiological techniques (i.e. event-related potential).
