From November 2015 to date Anna Maria is part of the clinical staff at the San Camillo IRCCS where she works as a physiatrist in the cerebrovascular diseases ward mainly treating patients affected from disabilities secondary to stroke.
Anna Maria is interested in the integration between clinical observations and imaging, mainly structural and functional MRI, to improve the knowledge of the physio-pathological mechanisms of stroke at the basis of its post rehabilitation recovery.
Therefore, she collaborates with our researchers and she is currently studying towards a PhD in translational neuroscience and neurotechnologies at the University of Ferrara.
